About:

Handon's Journey is a 2D action platformer about a builder using his trusty hammer to fight enemies and defeat bosses.

Handon is on his way back home, and suddenly finds that his house is missing! Handon sets out on an adventure to confront the house thief.

This is a demo, and is in active development. It currently includes 3 levels, and 1 boss.

Keyboard Controls (Can Change in Options):

  • Arrow Keys/WASD: Move
  • Z: Jump
  • X: Attack
  • C: Run
  • Enter/Return: Pause

Install instructions

This game can be played directly in your browser, but playing it natively on your operating system will likely yield the most optimal performance. Linux, Mac, and 32-bit Windows users can download the .love file and install LOVE, either from the LOVE website or a package manager. Note: this game was written using LOVE 11.5. After installing love on your system,  be sure to check your love version by opening a terminal and running "love --version".
